About the Friendship Circle

The Friendship Circle of Fairfield County is a non-profit organization that works with children and teens with special needs and their families through teenage volunteer outreach, providing a variety of different social, recreational, and educational programs and activities to participate in together as friends!

The Friendship Circle works to extend a helping hand to families who have children with special needs. While giving friendship to a child, our teenage volunteers themselves become empowered, enriched, and profoundly transformed, enabling friendship to work both ways!

The Friendship Circle is made up of five parts: the Volunteers, Children, Parents, Supporters, and Staff. The true beauty of the circle is how we all link TOGETHER to form a seamless circle of friendship!
